Healing Wounds Hidden in Plain Sight
Dr. Ron Campbell, writing with New York Times bestselling author Ron Brackin, answers two questions most books never separate: what does Scripture say about prophets in this millennium, and what is the difference between being a prophet and simply being prophetic?
He does not theorize from a distance. He guides emerging prophets through his own journey from Johannesburg to America, from sanctuary to legislatures and boardrooms, to reveal the prerequisites, principles, and perils of the office. The book pulls apart misconceptions of what a prophet is and is not, and shows the distinct difference between carrying a prophetic message or vision and operating in the office itself.
John Sanford, co-founder of Elijah House and author of The Elijah Task, commended the book for "many fine gems of truth" and agreed that the church is weak when it is not founded on prophets and apostles. That is why this volume is also the foundation for the Prophetic Academy and the companion to The Prophetic Path Workbook.
Prerequisites. Principles. Perils.
Prophet and Prophetic
Learn the difference between being a prophet and being prophetic, and why confusing the two wounds both the church and the called.
A Lived Path
Walk Ron's journey from South Africa to America and see how the office is formed in real life, not only in a classroom.
Church and Workplace
See the platforms a prophet can operate from, including congregation and marketplace, with pitfalls named before they wreck the gift.
The Path, Not the Platform
“What does the Bible say about third-millennium prophets? What is the difference between being a prophet and being prophetic? Those are not the same question, and the path begins by telling them apart.”
A Trustworthy Guide Through the Heavy Terrain
Readers come to this book either already convinced the prophetic has a place, or wondering if it does. Either way, the path is practical. Reviewers keep returning to the same strength: biblical principles applied to everyday life, with personal stories that make the counsel usable.
This is the teaching book. The workbook is the companion for practice. The Academy is the twelve-lesson school built on both. Start here if you need the journey, the distinctions, and a trustworthy picture of the office before you try to live it.
A powerful discipleship resource, not only for emerging prophets but for all who would be prophetic.
