Healing Wounds Hidden in Plain Sight
Drawing on the outpouring of the Spirit at Pentecost, Dr. Ron Campbell writes that every believer with a yearning heart and listening ears can hear from God and speak for him.
Each day reads like an honest, first-person conversation with God, wrestling with real questions: How do I know the voice is yours? What if I get it wrong? Why does pride keep tripping me up?
The readings move through trust, humility, suffering, waiting, spiritual warfare, and the difference between happiness and joy, with Joseph, Moses, Thomas, and Peter throughout.
Core insights
Relationship First
Prophecy is less about performance and more about relationship with God.
Character Over Gift
Character matters more than giftedness; fruit, not flash, is the real test.
Honest Questions
Getting a word wrong does not make someone a false prophet.
Still Learning
“Dr. Campbell does not write as a flawless authority handing down rules. He writes as someone still catching himself getting in the way, and that makes all the difference.”
A Trustworthy Guide Through the Heavy Terrain
Many books on prophecy either mystify the subject or reduce it to technique. This one does neither. Its strength is honesty. Dr. Campbell writes as a person still learning, still asking questions.
That candor makes the prophetic accessible to readers who have felt unqualified or unsure. Each reading is short enough to finish in minutes yet weighty enough to sit with all day.
Coauthored with Ron Brackin, bestselling author of Son of Hamas, for anyone curious about hearing God more clearly, this offers a warm and trustworthy place to begin.
Value, Insight, and Transformation
A clear, grounded understanding of what prophecy is and what it is not.
Separate Gift from Spectacle
Replace fear and showmanship with character, love, and closeness to God.
Shift Your Focus
Turn attention away from self-image and reputation and back toward God.
Practical Discernment
Learn how to tell God's voice from your own thoughts and share a word with care rather than ego.
